'Wake Up (Modernise Or Die)' is the second single from Abi's upcoming fourth studio album, No More Chasing, out on Friday 26th May 2023.

It's the wild card from the album, closer in sound to the early aughts garage-rock revival bands like The Hives and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club than her usual rootsy signature.

It was her intent to write and record her latest work by throwing away her usual songwriting habits however, and the result here is a raw wake-up call for change.
The song, visceral and primitive, is driven by Abi's voice, more cutting than usual, and riff-laden distorted electric guitar.

Of the new track, Abi explains: "I wrote this for anyone listening to the news, feeling overwhelmed by how directly people's lives & livelihoods are affected by the actions of those in power."

It’s a rebellious, audacious and brave second single - a savage take-down of the political system, loaded with urgency.
