'Apologies and Promises' is the third single from No More Chasing.

She briefly pauses her new stomp-n-holler sound for an intimate moment of heartbreaking defeat. Sparse, haunting solo piano, poignant lyrics of loss and a vulnerable vocal, despite their tenderness, hit hard.
It was Abi's intent to be as raw as possible on the new album. Whilst that has meant a visceral, riff- laden, blues-rock sound on her latest releases, this track's rawness comes from its vulnerability- as if you're eavesdropping on a painful, private conversation.
Of the new track, Abi explains: "I was trying to finish a totally different song intended for the new album, but after three months of unexpected heartbreak and grief, nothing else would come out of me except this, and it fell out of my mouth and hands readily. There were a lot of tears both writing and recording it and I’m still not sure how I’ll ever be able to play it live."
